Competitive Company

Company classes are for students who are excelling in regular classes. Students may be invited to join the Company team on a basis of skill, work ethic, attendance, attitude, determination, and progression. Company students have the opportunity to perform solos, duets, and trios in addition to regular classes.

Company classes are by invitation and audition only.
There are 4 company teams:

Mini-Litez (ages 5-6)
Star-Litez (ages 6-8)
Spot-Litez (ages 9-11)
Sky-Litez (ages 12-15)



► Commitment
Company students are required to attend ballet, jazz, lyrical and tap technique classes as well as choreography classes. Students will be required to dance more than once a week in order to obtain a minimum level of technique.

LimeLitez Company classes require the utmost dedication and attendance and require a serious commitment from both dancers and parents. A Company is a synergistic team of individuals working together to achieve their goals. As such, attendance is of utmost importance. Students with poor attendance may be withdrawn from the group. If students are unable to dance due to illness or injury, it is recommended that students come to watch the class whenever possible.



► Competition
We are delighted to have our company groups attend local competitions. Participating in competition is a great way to enhance performance skills. Competitions take place in Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, Calgary and the surrounding areas. They often occur during the school day, on weekends and during the extended Easter holiday period. Appropriate festivals and competitions are chosen, and students are advised of the dates as soon as they become available. Students are expected to adjust their schedule accordingly, wherever possible.
