Miss Jerredi Hauck - RAD RTS
Miss Jerredi is
the Studio Director at LimeLitez Dance Academy and specializes in teaching ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and
pre-dance.
Jerredi
has studied dance with Theresa Gale’s School of Ballet, Gotta Dance Medicine
Hat, at the School of Alberta Ballet and the University of Calgary Dance
Program. Jerredi has recently completed the Certificate of Ballet Teaching
Studies program with the Royal Academy of Dance and holds her Registered
Teachers Status. Jerredi has completed the
Advanced Foundation, and Grade 8 Ballet certificates and is working to
complete Advanced 1. She has completed
ballet and tap examinations with the Canadian Dance Teachers Association
(CDTA) and jazz examinations with Brian Foley (ADAPT). Jerredi is also
trained in the Leap ‘n Learn Early Childhood Dance Program.
Dancing has always been an important part of Jerredi's life, and she
is excited to pass on her love of dance to her students!
Miss
Teigen Cowan
Since the age
of three, Miss Teigen's passion has been dance. Beginning with ballet and
tap, she eventually added jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, pointe, modern and
hip hop to her repertoire. Her formal training took place at Theresa Gale's
School of Ballet, Gotta Dance Medicine Hat and at VanDance/Studio 1 in
Lethbridge/Taber. Teigen has won numerous scholarships and awards over the
years. Teigen specializes in teaching lyrical, jazz, hip hop, musical
theatre and pre-dance classes. She is trained in the Leap ‘n Learn Early
Childhood Dance Program. She is
also pursuing a career in Accounting at the University of Lethbridge! Mrs. Theresa Gale - RAD RTS, A.R.A.D
Mrs. Gale has been teaching dance for thirty five years and she is very
proud this year to be teaching alongside her former students Miss Jerredi
and Miss Teigen.
Mrs. Gale graduated from
the Ryerson University dance programme and also studied in the professional
training programme of L'Ecole Superieure des Grands Ballets Canadiens in
Montreal. Her summers were spent training at the Banff Centre School of Fine
Arts and in the major dance schools of New York City. Further study took her
to York University while on sabbatical from the Medicine Hat College and to
Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. She is an
Associate (A.R.A.D.) and Registered Teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance
and is also trained in the Leap ‘n Learn Early Childhood Dance Program. Mrs. Jennifer Wolanski
Jennifer Wolanski (nee
Wlock), started dancing and performing at a very early age and turned
professional once entering the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Professional Division
at age 13. She graduated after 6 years of intense study in ballet, pointe,
pas de deux, modern and character and went on to pursue her passion for
musical theatre, tap, jazz and hip hop.
She has studied
and apprenticed in
Chicago
(Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago) and
Toronto
(Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts). After performing in various
musical venues across Canada including The Charlottetown Festival and
Calgary Stage West and doing various film and television productions
(“Superstar” with Will Ferrell, “Prisoner of Love” with Naomi Campbell, Wind
at My Back TV series) she then decided to settle down and start a family
with her husband David. After giving birth to their first daughter in
Toronto they then relocated to Niagara Falls where Jennifer was still able
to sing, act, dance and choreograph many different shows at the Oh Canada
Eh? Dinner Show,( while adding an additional 4 more daughters to their
family). After living in Manitoba for the last 2 1/2 years where she
choreographed and taught all dance forms, she has now relocated to Redcliff
with her family and looks forward to this year at LimeLitez. She loves working with children and adults of
all ages and has a mission to instill confidence in all those she comes in
contact with.
Miss Sarah holds her certificate in dance (CDE) from the Imperial Society of Teachers in Dancing (ISTD) in Ballet, Modern, and National Dance. She also has experience teaching Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Latin American, Pilates, and Disco. She has relocated to Medicine Hat from Liverpool, England. Mrs. Melisa Cowan – Studio Owner, Office Manager
Mrs. Cowan has been a primary school teacher in the public school district
for 26 years. She loves working
and interacting with children in all kinds of educational settings.
She enjoys her role as office manager for LimeLitez Dance Academy and
is there to answer any questions you may have about classes, schedules,
dress requirements, and more. |
